突然ですが、人間ってのは慣れる生き物で。
適応と言えば良いんかな？
最初は刺激になっていたものも、それが繰り返されると鈍感になる。
身近な事で言えば騒音性難聴なんかは分かり易い例かも知れん。
まぁアレはアレでまた違うものだけれどｗｗｗ
さて、こう言った「慣れ」ってのは別に物理的な刺激に限った事ではない。
それらの事は心理的にも当然に起きている。
と言う訳で、ちょっと例え話。
ある地域では常に貧困と飢えに苦しんでいた。
そこである富豪が毎週日曜日に、彼らに食事を与えるボランティアを始めた。
当然彼らは富豪に対して非常に強い感謝をする。
曰く「あなたは神様だ」、曰く「あなたは素晴らしい人だ」と。
そうして1年の月日が経ったある日、ある事情で日曜日に食料を届ける事が出来なかった。
それまで規則正しく配給を受けていた彼らは、遅れて来たスタッフにこう言った。
「ちゃんと日曜日に配給をしてくれないと困るよ」
みたいなね。
ちょっと極端だけれど、でもこんな話は別に珍しい話でもなんでもない。
自分の周りを見渡してみれば、いくらでもある話だ。
最初にも言ったけど、人間ってのは慣れる生き物だからね。
でも、俺はこうはなりたくないんよ。
どんなに繰り返されようと、常に感謝を相手に対して持ち続けていたいと思う。
自分がそれを享受できる事の貴重さを忘れたくないんよね。
なかなか難しい事だけどさ。
こう書くと「慣れ」自体を否定しているように見えるかも知れないけれど、そうじゃない。
「慣れ」ってのは作業のオートメーション化と言う観点で言えば素晴らしい機能だと思うし、人間がある種の社会生活を営む上では絶対に欠かすことの出来ない機能であるとも思う。
けれど、他人が自分の為に何かをしてくれると言う事のスペシャリティを考えた時、そこに生まれてしまう「慣れ」ってのは悪以外何者でもないなぁと。
あまり善悪で物事を語るのは好きじゃないけど。
今での長くない人生の中ですら、そうやって「慣れ」によってスペシャリティを忘れ、それが権利であるかのように錯誤してしまった人ってのは沢山見てきた。
そしてそう言う人を見る度、俺は凄く残念な気分にさせられて来た。
だからこそ、俺はそれらの人々と同じにはなりたくないんよね。
この残念な気持ちを周りの人に持ってもらいたくないから。
ただ、もう一度言うけど、「慣れ」を捨てる事は脳味噌の本能（＝物事を単純化して整理する事）に逆らう事でもあるので、なかなか難しい事なんだけどさ。
ま、こんな綺麗事を言った所で何が変わる訳でもないってのは重々承知してますよ。
んでも、こう言った意識を一人一人が持てたら、世界は少しだけ良くなるんじゃねぇかなぁとも思ってみたり。
･･･と、たまには真面目な事を書いてみるテスト(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ｱﾋｬw
