うちの実家には現役６年ほどになるＰＣがありまして。
まぁ６年も使ってると色々ガタも来るわけですよ。
起動が遅くなったり、処理が遅くなったり、熱暴走したりとかね。
まぁ仕方ないかなと思って諦めてたんだけど、今朝ふと気が付いた。
起動が遅いのは余計なソフトが入ってるってのと、ＨＤＤ自体の断片化のせいだろう。
ＣＰＵ自体が劣化するなんて話は聞いた事ないし。
処理が遅いのは単にメモリ不足か（と言っても一応５１２ＭＢは入ってるんだが）、起動してるソフトが多い事によるリソース不足だな。
熱暴走するのは、ファン＆その周辺に埃が溜まって排熱が上手くいってないからだ。
あれ？
何か解決できそうじゃね？？(・∀・)
起動の遅さ＆処理の遅さに関してはＨＤＤの初期化＆ＯＳ再インストールで対処できるし、埃に関しては筐体を開けて埃を吸い出してやれば良い訳で。
メモリを増やすのは取り敢えず置いといて、何だかこのＰＣを生き返らせる事が出来そうな予感が(゜∀゜)
と言う訳で、まずは配線を全て外して筐体を開けてみた。
そしたらそこにはまさしく地獄絵図が…('A`)
そこにあったのは人山の黒だかりならぬ、埃の黒だかり。
マザーボードやＰＣＩカードを埋め尽くす黒い埃。
ファン周辺に至っては地が見えねぇｗｗｗ
驚異の埃量にガクブルしてても仕方ないので、取り敢えずざっと目につく所の埃を掃除機で取り去った後、ＡＶ出力カードとファンを取り外して、一応ＣＰＵもご拝見。
うわぁぁぁぁぁぁ！！！(゜Д゜;)
ファンの裏＆ＣＰＵが真っ黒。
ファンを掴んだ手も真っ黒。
何つーか、６年の重みを変な所で実感したｗｗｗ
驚きもそこそこに、それらの埃も掃除機でサクサク埃除去。
いやー、何か楽しくなってきたぞ(・∀・)♪
んで、取り敢えず全部を組み直して起動テスト。
何事もなかったかのように無事起動(・∀・)ｖ
ファンを固定してたネジを付け忘れたけどまぁ良いかｗｗｗ
さぁ、お次はＯＳの入れ替えだ。
リカバリディスクをセットして待つ事１時間半。
こちらもつつがなく終了。
初期化ついでにパーティションも変更してみた。
ホントはパーティションなしにしたかったんだけど、何故か出来なかった(´・ω・`)
んで、その勢いのままソフトウェアリカバリもして、やっと作業完了ヽ(゜∀゜)ノ
そして再び電源を入れてみる。
起動早っ！！！！！！！！！！(・Ａ・;)
今まで起動だけで１５分以上掛かってたのに、１分程度で起動完了。
この早さなら最新のＰＣと比べても全然遜色ない(゜∀゜)♪
すげぇすげぇ！！
やたらテンションＵＰの俺(・∀・三・∀・)
と言う訳でリカバリは大成功。
これで実家のＰＣを使ってる母ちゃんもだいぶ楽になるじゃろ( ´ー`)
今までのがひど過ぎた分、凄く快適に感じるに違いないｗ
いやー、昔取った杵柄とはよく言ったもので、昔ＰＣ屋でＰＣ改造のバイトをしてた経験が役に立ちましたわ。
俺ってば、つくづく秋葉系が良く似合うなσ(゜∀゜)
今日はそんな一日でした( ´ω`)

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
